Lawn Ops Sign in

Terms of service and license

The agreement, including the end user license, between Lawn Ops ("Lawn Ops", "we") and the lawn care businesses that use Lawn Ops ("you"). You accept it by ticking the box when you create an account. Last updated October 31, 2026.

Your account

You must be 18 or older and able to agree for your business. Keep your sign-in private; you're responsible for what's done in your account, including by the staff and crew you add. Tell us right away if you think someone else got in.

Your license

While your account is in good standing, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Lawn Ops to run your business, and to let your staff and crew use it for that. Lawn Ops itself, its software and its design stay ours. Don't copy, resell or reverse engineer it, get into accounts or data that aren't yours, scrape it, overload it, or get around its limits or security.

Plans and payment

The free plan covers one crew and up to 60 recurring lawns. Paid plans are coming; nothing is charged until you choose one. When you do, it's billed monthly at the price shown when you upgrade, and you can cancel any time (the plan runs to the end of the month already paid). We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change.

Your customers and your texts

You're responsible for your relationship with your customers: your prices, your work, and having the right to keep their information in Lawn Ops. Lawn Ops texts your customers only after they opt in on your quote or account page, or after you record an agreement they gave you in person or by phone; only record one they actually gave. Don't use Lawn Ops to send texts or emails to anyone who hasn't agreed to them, or for content that's illegal, misleading or harmful.

Online payments

Online payments run through Stripe, on your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. The money goes to you, not through Lawn Ops. Stripe handles cards, bank payments, payouts and disputes; you handle refunds with your customers.

Your data

Your business's information, and your customers', stays yours. We use it only to provide the service, as our privacy policy describes. You can export your invoices at any time, and email us for a full copy of your data.

Handling your customers' information

For your customers' records, you decide what's collected and why; we handle them for you as your service provider (California) and processor (GDPR), under these terms. We use them only to provide Lawn Ops to you and as you instruct, don't sell or share them, don't combine them with other businesses' data for our own purposes, and keep them confidential. We use the service providers listed in our privacy policy under similar duties, and tell you before adding one. We'll help you answer your customers' privacy requests, and tell you without undue delay if we learn of a breach affecting your data. If you close your account, email us: we'll give you a copy, then delete or de-identify your customers' records, apart from what the law requires us to keep.

Support access

To help you or look into a problem, authorized Lawn Ops staff can open a read-only view of your account as its owner sees it, including your customers' records. They can't change anything in that view, it ends within an hour, and each one is listed in your account's audit log.

The service

Lawn measurements, prices, routes, drive times, weather and AI-written drafts are estimates to help you decide; check them before you rely on them. We work to keep Lawn Ops available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why. While suspended, your staff and crew can't sign in; links you've sent your customers, and reminders and payments already set up, keep working. You can stop using Lawn Ops at any time.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey. We'll email you before material changes take effect; using Lawn Ops after that means you accept them.
