Texts from Lawn Ops
Terms for Lawn Ops alerts: the texts Lawn Ops sends to the owners, office staff and crew members of lawn care businesses that use it. Last updated October 31, 2026.
Are you a customer of a lawn care business? Its texts to you have their own terms, linked from the page where you signed up.
What we text
- Owners and office staff: alerts about their business: a customer asked to reschedule, a crew skipped a visit that needs a new day, a question the text assistant needs their OK on, and a summary after the phone assistant takes a call.
- Crew members: a link to sign in and open their route when they're added to a crew (or ask for a new one), and a request to share their location when the office asks where the crew is.
No marketing or offers, ever. How often: it varies with the business's day; usually a few texts a week for owners and a few a month for crews.
How you sign up
- Owners and office staff enter their own mobile number under Settings, Your alerts, next to the words:
"By saving your mobile, you agree to get alert texts from Lawn Ops about your business. Frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
- Crew members give their work mobile number to their employer, who adds it in Lawn Ops so the crew member can sign in by text instead of a password. The first text says who added them and how to stop. A crew member can also sign in with an email and password instead and get no texts.
Stopping and help
Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from this number; we confirm once and send nothing more. Reply START to sign up again, or HELP for help. Owners and office staff can also clear their number in Settings. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We use your mobile number only to send the texts above. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Our texting carrier sends the messages for us and may use your number only to do that. More in our privacy policy.
